I’m very sad to let you know that Francis Rudd passed away on Sunday 13 August. He was 63 and had been suffering with a brain tumour since March this year.

Our condolences are with his son Dan, and his brothers Joe and Dave who have all been in the Club over the years, and his wife Mary.

The De Laune Cycling Club is proud to be one of the oldest cycling clubs in the country; with a history covering three centuries (well almost!) - we were founded in 1889.  Based in the south-east of London we have around 100 members. 


A mixed club with a wide range of abilities, activities and ages.  The club currently meet at the Streatham & Marlborough Cricket Club, Dulwich Common, SE21 7EX  on the second Monday of each month, from eight o'clock onwards. More details and photos here...


We are involved with all levels of racing - Time-Trials, Track, Off-Road, Road/Circuit, Triathlons and Rollers; as well as Sunday Club Runs and many social functions.  The Club is affiliated to all of the leading cycling associations.


We welcome new members - membership is Free to under 18's.....
