Gentlemen,

I have lived in the US for many years but In
       the mid 60s I was a member as a
schoolboy. I was able to rejoin in about
2004 and apparently paid too much and
was sent some kit and the "century a wheel"
book. Also met with Mike Peel who was in
       New York for a holiday.

A year or so later I sent a further payment
by travelers checks but did not hear back.
In the meantime I moved to San Francisco
( lived at the top of a 22 degree hill which
pretty much slowed my cycling - had a
pacemaker input in December 2016 but did
a ride in Provence in July 2017 - slowly! And
on a tourist bike from the organizing
company. I have attached a photo of me
riding down from Chateauneuf du pape.

I have just retired and moved back to the New York area and have just
started riding again. Very embarrassed to say there is a quiet road run of
almost exactly 10 miles. First time out it took me 46 minutes! A week later
I am down to 38 minutes but with club record for my age at 22 minutes I
have a way to go..!! I am aiming for 30 minutes end of October.

Anyway, my apologies for the boring note. My request is to be accepted as
a paying member even though I can't do club runs, and to be able to purchase
a club vest and perhaps other gear.

If this is OK, please let me know how to pay and how much. Easiest for me
       would be by credit card.

       Much appreciate your consideration.

       Regards
       Peter Jaques
