Dawkings he even talked me in to
riding and I had not race for 13 years.

I cannot remember where I got a bike
from as I sold all of mine in 1957 when
I moved to Canada. On returning to
the UK first I got a Bella Scooter then
an Ariel motor bike with side car. Then
in 1959 my first 4 wheels I ordered a
new Ford Thames van for delivery on
the day I took my driving test.

And I just remembered I did not finish
last in the “10” and over 50 of us sat
down to breakfast.
