Going back inside the
church, once again the ladies of
the Church had provided us with
sustenance, which is always very
acceptable, thank you, and we then
spent a pleasant half hour or so
before leaving to cross the road to
the George Inn.

Claire and her husband Dave have
only been in residence for a few
months but were well organised, with friendly staff, and everyone was in praise
of their plentiful meals, (that’s a first, for many a year). Claire is genuinely
interested in our history and has asked for photos from the past in
connection to Newnham and the George Inn, this I have started on, (she
might regret her request!).

As always the time soon past and we departed, whilst still light, to return
home after a

service and a

old friends
