A new trophy will be available for competition in 2019.
Although I say 'new' it is the Southcott Cup, a trophy that
has been donated back to the club by Dave Rudd. It is fine
trophy which was competed for over a 50 mile distance which
Dave won outright back in 1971 having
won the trophy 3 times.

Dave has created a new plinth for the
cup and wishes the trophy to be
known as
He has suggested
that it could be awarded for the
fastest club rider in the Club Open 10,
however he is happy for the club to
review this wish if they so desire.
The cup has been accepted and
perhaps open up the new designation
of the cup to the club in general.
