Oh and I have to tell you about my daily snack... In the first week Lee bought
some Nutella spin off for us to put on our bread, then one day thinking he
had bought the same thing, he actually picked up a massive tub of dulce de
leche!!! The best mistake ever!!! We have got through a number of these now!

1 st September
We made it! 1721km across the beautiful Kyrgyzstan mountains. Off course
it was tough, but we absolutely loved it! It was everything we expected and
much more.
Don't be fooled into thinking it's a bike race, it was definitely a survival race.
With such a slow start, with me being quite poorly, we are amazed to have
made it round in We finished 23rd, 1st pair, and
I was the 2nd of just 3 woman to complete. The cut off isn't until midnight
but we think just 29 will finish from the 93 on the start line, making it one
heck of an event.
We have taken over 500 pics, so once I'm home I will sort through some of
the best ones and write a blog of our amazing adventure. Until then we will
eat! Lee is half the size of his former self so we need to fatten him up. We
have eaten nothing but sweet food so craving something savoury now (yes
the sugar monster did just say that)!
Thank you for all the lovely supportive messages willing us on, we really
appreciate it. And a massive thank you to Nelson and Jeff for creating such
a spectacular adventure through just the most magical country.
