Thanks once again to Pat and Len Brown for putting on the Annual Club Lunch
       and Prize Pres at the Three Horseshoes in Knockholt. The fourth one was
       presumably unlucky for the horse concerned. At the time of writing, the lunch
       is tomorrow (Sat 27 th Oct) but it’ll be in the past by the time you see this, so
       there’s no spoilers in telling you who won.

      Well done to all of these winners, and also to all the others who raced so that
       these could win. Thank you for supporting our Club events and to everyone
       else who raced in the Club’s name this year. To those who didn’t (including
       me!) I hope you get your mojo back again next year….

       motivating us to be there. Entries now closed, but if you’re riding, wrap up
       warm for the first Arctic Blast of the winter. I’ll be thinking of you all while
       I’m freezing in the timing tent at Round 7 of the London & SE Cyclocross
       League in Brighton.


       Sunday November 18 th will be the Newnham Memorial Service. All the more
       significant in this 100 th anniversary of the Armistice. While there can be only
