Bill Miles 100th Birthday Lunch
Over 50
members and friends gathered at Blackheath Harriers on Saturday 3 March 2012
to celebrate the 100th birthday of Bill. More correctly it was his 25th as
he was born on 29 February!
The President, Malc Adams, and PP Kav, gave short speeches to which Bill,
in his normal manner, responded so eloquently. Most of us there, whilst 20
or even 30 years younger than Bill would be very pleased to have his recall
and wit - at any age.
The Queen, unable to attend had sent him a delightful card...
